By 1976, Nashville had a polished sound and a short list of who got to make it. Then a compilation of the town's outlaws, a Stranger and an Outlaw among them, became the first country album certified platinum. They played it their own way, and the fans noticed. Nobody ever put them on a ballot, so we did. Keep country music wild.
Vote early. Wear often.
